Annette's day started with breakfast in bed, followed by opening her presents - an Ipod Nano and a new Orchid. (Annette cheated by opening some of her other gifts early - a poetry book and Sudoku puzzles, both of which she has been enjoying. Angela, you timed your mail perfectly - the shirts and frame arrived on Monday - pictures to come later!)
After playing with her new Ipod for a while, Annette 'had' to go to her surprise Spa appointment to get a pedicure. After that, she was treated to her signature birthday cake - sponge cake with whipped cream and mandarin oranges. Later on, Annette and Wes had dinner at "M at the Fringe," a small hip restaurant with a creative menu.
This weekend, Annette's birthday celebration will continue as we travel to Langkawi, Malaysia. Check back later for an update!

If anybody wants to know when Annette was born email me ... I was there and I can tell you if I can remember the year. Sounds like you had a great time for your bday and the trip sounds like fun. Many happy returns!
